Vicryl Rapide Sutures

Cascade Health Care is a reputable medical equipment supplier with decades of experience in service and excellence. We offer top-quality Vicryl Rapide sutures in a range of sizes to meet your facility’s demands. Coated Vicryl Rapide (polyglactin 910) Sutures are synthetic absorbable sterile surgical sutures composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Although this suture is a synthetic absorbable suture, its performance characteristics are intended to model the performance of a collagen (surgical gut) suture. It has a tensile strength that is initially greater than Chromic Gut and sutures begin to fall out after 7 - 10 days, with total absorption after 42 days.

Due to the absorbable nature of our Vicryl Rapide sutures, they’re ideal for use in procedures that require the body to naturally dissolve the stitching over time. Our Vicryl Rapide absorbable sutures have superior strength and excellent handling properties and smoothly pass through tissue. With Cascade Health Care, patients and healthcare professionals alike can trust in the quality and efficacy of our products.
