Jaundice Phototherapy

Phototherapy is commonly used to treat newborn jaundice. When a baby is born with high levels of bilirubin in their blood, phototherapy treatment can make it easier for a baby's body to break down and remove the bilirubin through light exposure. Cascade Health Care carries the Bili-hut LED Phototherapy device which is designed to be portable and can be used for nurse or midwife-led phototherapy treatment in the hospital or at home. The patented curved phototherapy light array focuses more light over additional skin surface area for superior jaundice treatment compared to traditional uni-directional overhead devices.
