The HemoCue® Glucose 201 System is professional-use analyzer suitable for patients of all ages including newborns. Providing results closely correlated with a reference lab method, the HemoCue® Glucose 201 System can be used to support the clinical evidence in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic patients. Providing the ability to perform Oral Glucose Tolerance Tests (OGTT), commonly used in gestational diabetes screening, the HemoCue® Glucose 201 System is the professional solution for in-office testing.

SPECIFICATIONS
Principle: Modified glucose degydrogenase in which the total amount of glucose is measured at the end point photometrically
Calibration: Factory calibrated and traceable to the ID GC-MS method; needs no further calibration and no coding
Sample material: Capillary, venous or arterial whole blood including neonatal blood. For arterial or venous samples, you can use the following anticoagulants: EDTA, sodium heparin or lithium heparin.
Measurement range: Plasma equivalent values: 0-444 mg/dL (0-24.6 mmol/L). Systems are factory setup to provide results in Plasma Equivalent values. It is not possible to change this setup to whole blood values.
